Senior Sharepoint Administrator
Technical Expert in Sharepoint 2010
Our client is one of Canada’s leading enterprise software and integration companies with a client list that covers the Fortune 500. They are seeking a highly experienced, senior level SharePoint Administrator who combines a professional consulting background, exceptional technical skills, and strong communications ability to join their client facing team in the Greater Toronto Area. As a Sr. SharePoint Administrator, you will apply technical expertise in SharePoint 2010 administration and be responsible for a wide range of deployment, installation and administration tasks.
Your Challenge
In this role you will apply your deep technical expertise in SharePoint 2010 administration to support a wide range of deployments, installations and administrative functions for client organizations. You will install, configure, manage, control and document all changes in SharePoint server farms, identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities, and you will automate system tasks using common toolsets, such as PowerShell. Working with Sharepoint practice leads you will also build a best practices process for code promotion, development, testing and production and establish a system health dashboard, including the currency of the Sharepoint application, Service Packs and patches.
Your Background
You are an expert in large scale, enterprise-wide, SharePoint deployment, implementations and enhancements, especially in Sharepoint 2010 server farm installations, configuration and optimization, including at least 5 years experience in a similar consulting environment. You have in-depth skills with PowerShell, MS SQL Server 2008, web performance and capacity management technologies experience is a definite plus as is an in-depth understanding of Internet Information Server and Active Directory and technical design, configuration, and implementation expertise with Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010. You should have a relevant university degree along with industry recognized certifications, particularly a Microsoft SharePoint Certification
