Support and repair existing data network equipment and circuitry.
Implement new hardware and device IOS
Manage life cycle replacement process
Part of on-call rotation
Assist business units determine data network needs
Manage Telco in the provisioning, support and management of data network circuits.
Support VPN services
Support Wireless Access Points
Maintain network inventory
Maintain network diagrams
Ability to work independently yet collaboratively in a geographically dispersed environment
Some travel is required
Minimum of five years supporting Cisco network devices
Good understanding of routing protocols (BGP), OSPF
Good understanding of VoIP technologies including QoS
Two years of experience with Visio software products
Thorough understanding of VLANS and HSRP
Thorough understanding of WAN circuits
Experience working with Telco in the delivery and repair of network circuits
Preferences will be given:
Experience supporting VoIP infrastructure
Experience supporting Firewalls and related DMZ hardware
Experience with Microwave radio systems
Experience with SCADA systems
