We are currently searching for an automation specialist to work at one of our largest industrial machine manufacturing clients. We have an opening for a permanent employee in Granby, Quebec, Canada.Ourclientis a company specialized in the design, manufacturing and assembly of machine tools with numerical controls. We work in all areas requiring machining of large dimensions with high accuracy. Their main customers are in aerospace, transport and general engineering. They are looking for an:

Automation Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Produce and maintain automation programs for the CNC controllers and programmable logic controllers (PLC) in the machines we produce.
• The automation technician is also responsible for the initiation of CNC and PLC at the client site.

The candidate should possess the following skills:

• A college degree in industrial electronics is a minimum.A university degree in automation is prefered.
• Knowledge of programming languages:
  • Visual Basic
  • Programming of PLC in “Ladder”
  • CNC Fanuc and Siemens
• Knowledge of industrial electricity: schematics, calculations and standards.
• Experience with motor controllers is desired.
• Installation of PCs and Windows configuration.
• Working knowledge of French and English, both spoken and written.
• Available for travel.

Spcialiste en automatisation

Fonction :

• Le travail consiste produire et maintenir des programmes dautomatisation pour les contrleurs CNC et AP (automate programmable) dans les machines que nous produisons.
• Lautomaticien est aussi responsable de la mise en route des CNC et AP lusine comme chez le client.

Le candidat recherch devra possder les comptences suivantes :

• Une formation collgiale en lectronique industrielle est un minimum, une formation universitaire en automatisme est souhaite.
• Connaissance des langages de programmation:
  • Visual basic
  • Programmation dautomate programmable en Ladder
  • CNC Fanuc et Siemens
• Connaissance en lectricit industriel : schmatisation, calcul, normes.
• Exprience en asservissement et contrleurs de moteur est souhaite.
• Installation de PC et configuration de Windows.
• Connaissance fonctionnelle de langlais parl et crit.
• Disponible pour voyager.
