As an award winning company, Brock Solutions continues to grow steadily and we are currently seeking a .NET/SharePoint Web Developer to join our team in our Kitchener, ON offices.
As the .NET/SharePoint Web Developer you will be a key member of the IT team supporting both internal and external clients. The ideal candidate will have proven experience within an enterprise environment. Superior communication, analytical skills and interpersonal skills are required.
Primary Functions:
- Develop and support workflow systems for in-house business processes
- Design, develop, document, and maintain in-house and client facing SharePoint Portals
- Develop both internal intranet sites, such as Wikis, and external client facing web pages and applications
- Work closely with project teams and clients to support large, corporate manufacturing execution systems (MES) and related infrastructure
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience designing and developing websites and web applications in a professional business environment
- Experience developing in both Front & Back End environments using ASP.net, HTML, CSS, Java, Ajax and Web Scripting
- Experience using Microsofts SharePoint product line (including Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 & 3.0, and MOSS 2007/2010)
- Experience developing SharePoint sites, Wikis, applications, workflows, and Web Parts
- Strong general Web programming skills and an understanding of Web Services, SOA, and Business Intelligence
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 & 2008 (including database design, development, and integration) and excellent knowledge of IIS
- Experience developing reports using reporting technologies from Microsoft (SQL Reporting) and/or Crystal Reports
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently across all business organizational units and all levels of management
