Branch Administrator Job in Toronto M2N6K1, Ontario Canada
POSITION SUMMARY:
Purpose
As a member of the Branch Management team, the Branch Administrator is responsible for contributing to the overall success of the branch by ensuring a high level of client service achieved by effective operations and administrative efficiencies. In addition to making decisions regarding day-to-day business operations and service delivery, the Branch Administrator is responsible for recruitment, employee development, performance evaluations and on-the-job coachingand training of all Support Staff located in the branch and any sub-branches.
Accountability 1
Lead and manage all branch support staff by providing ongoing coaching and employee development, resolving employee issues, and managing performance, and providing ongong employee recognition.
Accountability 2
Responsible for all support staff recruiting and training.
Accountability 3
Manage the quality and efficiency of branch operations.
Accountability 4
Manage all of New Issues, BOT deals for the Branch.
Accountability 5
Manage and implement procedures to ensure compliance with corporate policies and industry regulations.
Accountability 6
Administer the Branch Client Accounts (house accounts).
Accountability 7
Supporting Branch Manager with Branch budget and expenses.

EDUCATION AND ACCREDITATIONS:
Skills
This position requires the following education:
High school graduate (minimum)
A minimum of 5-7 years in the investment industry, preferably with 2 years in a Supervisory role
Currently licensed as an Investment Representative
This position requires the following knowledge
Importance of compliance with established operating procedures and protocols
Knowledge of the firm’s business practices and organization structure
Key concepts associated with management and its procedures and guidelines
Response time and resolution time objectives
Solid understanding of ADP processing systems (desirable)
This position requires the following skills and experience:
Strong planning, organizational and time management skills
Strong inter-personal skills when interacting with internal staff (e.g. advisors) and or external clients
Able to recognize and handle sensitive and confidential information
