Are you a Sr. Java Developer looking for an opportunity to work for a dynamic, cutting edge and growing organization?
Our Lower Mainland client is seeking an Sr. Java Developer to join their team. In this position you will have the opportunity to design and develop advanced web applications within a small and dynamic and team. As the Senior Java Developer you will be involved in all aspects of development including prototypes & research to implementation and deployment.
Key Accountabilities and Functions:
- Develop and/or revise multifaceted software programming applications
- This role will require you to design, code, test and debug programs
- All development must be supported by documentation and programs must be maintained
- Communication is key – consult with engineers and other staff or departments
- A proven ability to use judgment in making technical decisions
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- BSc. Computer Science, BEng in Computer Systems or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years developing in J2EE for web applications
- Working experience in Spring and Hibernate is a must (Velocity an asset)
- strong hands on experience with MySQL and Tomcat
- Work at highest technical level on all phases of software systems programming applications
- Provide guidance, leadership and coordination to other team members
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary Range for this position is $75,000 – $85,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
