The Senior Financial Analyst position reports to the Director, Business Finance Product Development. The Business Finance Products team supports the CTO, CMO and Business Unit managers in the effective and efficient achievement of their business objectives. The role performs the financial planning and analysis activities for the corporate marketing, product management, product marketing, and business unit teams. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for planning and reporting the financial performance of several of the companys business units or functional areas. Additional responsibilities include investment analysis by business unit / product and participating in special projects indentified on an ongoing basis. The individual will have proven track record that demonstrates a strong ability to analyze and clearly communicate financial information and possess a good understanding of critical business success factors. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and be able to handle multiple tasks in the face of changing priorities and conflicting goals. This role requires the ability to build strong relationships with functional and business unit managers around the world in order to gain their support with respect to innovative ideas and approaches. Core Accountabilities: Interaction with senior business partners to develop a clear understanding of business issues and objectives Analysis of complex data to support timely and effective decision making Creation and dissemination of templates, synthesis and analysis of information, presentations and discussions with senior and departmental management. Monthly generation and review of financial reports as part of close process and understand significant variances to forecast Key Interfaces Business Finance Directors and VP Business and operational directors/VPs Other Financial Planning & Analysis team members Financial Reporting and Accounting & Control

Position Requirements Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting CA, CGA or CMA required Minimum of ten years post qualifying experience in finance roles Prior experience in software industry beneficial Excellent PC skills with ability to design and maintain complex financial models and to create high quality financial presentations High degree of skill with Microsoft Excel and Access Experience with Great Plains, SAP, Hyperion Broad and deep understanding of accounting principles and corporate finance concepts Ability to summarize business results clearly and concisely both orally as well as in writing Highly motivated, participative team player that can work in a matrix environment
