IMS Systems Programmer Job in Toronto, Ontario Canada

Our client is currently seeking one (1) IMS Systems Programmer. This is a contract opportunity slated to begin in November 2011, and is projected to be six (6) month in length with the possibility of extending.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible to:

• The IMS system programmer will perform installation and configuration of the IMS subsystems;
• Vreate data structures to support the execution of COBOL, DB2, IMS-DB programs in IMS DC and IMS batch environments.

Skills and Qualifications

The qualified candidate must have:

• Mainframe system programmer with IMS skills;
• DB2, MQ, CICS, Assembler, COBOL; and,
• General z/OS configurations like RACF & SMS.
