Employee Services Coordinator Job in North York M2N6Y8, Ontario Canada

JOB PURPOSE

To ensure all employer contributions are remitted, entered and current in order to meet month end requirements to administer the Trust Funds.

To carry out processes required in the administration of the plans in a consistent and professional manner while controlling risk.

To promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.

Maintaining a member driven focus in everything you do.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Apply payments for members to the correct accounts and post to the GL

Reconcile member accounts to reflect the current balance.

Follow up and resolve any variations in employer remittances.

Act as a point of contact to respond to employer inquires with respect to payments made or amounts owing to the Trust Funds.

Follow up and communicate with the employers to resolve billing/payment discrepancies in a timely manner.

Manage the delinquency program.

Produce and review delinquent interest statements.

Convert any contributing employers to an electronic form of payment/remittance.

Provide a high level of customer service to employers, stakeholders.

Assist with the training of junior staff.

Supervise, motivate and provide leadership to a team of 1-2.

Assist the manager in their efforts to introduce any policy or procedural changes as required.

Provide reporting for the Manager as required for Board meetings.

Ensure all employer contributions are entered and balanced daily to bank deposit.

Ensure all employer contributions are entered and balanced for month end closing.

Act in a highly professional manner.

Ad hoc duties as requested.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications include:

7+ years office administration experience combined with a Community College Diploma or equivalent experience.

Data entry skills;

Motivated, energetic and demonstrates initiative;

Excellent verbal communication skills;

Previous supervisory skills;

Strong customer service skills;

Courteous and professional;

Exceptional organization skills, with keen attention to detail.

Dedicated, flexible and able to work well with others

Basic working knowledge of MS Office package particularly Word, Excel and Outlook

Ability to quickly learn systems that support the administration of the plans

Job Experience:
More than 5 years
