Exciting Opportunity to join a large well established global company with many prospects for the future. Your day to day responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Your understanding of our value added service offerings are paramount in partnering with customers to further understand their needs in order to provide them with a technical consultative solution
You will be passionate about exceeding customer expectations and working with a sense of urgency
Understand OEM requirements and develop proof of concept System architecture and Recommended Parts list in an effort to grow sales at identified and targeted OEMs and meet Companys Sales Objective
Ability to understand and influence OEM on the utilization of SIMATIC products
Demonstrate Value Proposition on Totally Integrated Automation to OEM for innovative SIMATIC products
Monthly reporting to Business Unit Management on business development and activity status of the identified OEMs Customer
Develop Sales Collateral like demo programs Application Notes White paper for Sales Organization
Work closely with the Product Marketing team on various Marketing activities like Product launch Seminars and Workshops
Offer support and implement corporate regional local and global marketing programs for lead development
Technically represent and interface with company HQ and OEM Competence centre on complex customer projects
Stays well informed on industry changes participates where possible in professional organizations directly involved with our target market segments and continually works to improve technical skills and knowledge
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or diploma in engineering or technical disciplines preferred
5 – 7 years of previous Application Specialist or Technical Support experience
2 3 years of Business Development or Technical Consulting experience
A proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals
Strong hands-on experience with SIMATIC Automation Products S7-1200 S7-300400 HMI Motion and Industrial Networking using Profibus and Profinet
In depth knowledge of other vendors Industrial Automation Platforms and Industrial networks
Application experience in Automotive FB Chemicals Pharmaceutical Metal and Mining OG is a definite asset
Excellent communication skills verbal and written strong French and English language skills technical writing experience beneficial
