Position Mandate:
The Product Advisor for Laptops is responsible for the configurability of all Business Laptops in addition toleading all go to market programs that drive Latitude, Vostro, Precision Mobile Workstation demand generation activities and the overall Brand. The role requires building a demand shaping strategy that aligns to forecasts, leveraging various sales channels to achieve desired financial, market share, and customer objectives.

Key Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Subject matter expert on Business Laptops (Latitude, Vostro, Precision Mobile Workstation) and related products.
Conduct training on Business Laptops products/options and overall strategy.
Disseminate important product related communications to all small-medium business (SMB)customers internally (Sales, Online, Marcom teams) and externally (SMB Customers).
Complete online/offline merchandizing and promotion responsibility including marcom and demand gen activities
Complete responsibility for building and driving brand strategy for Service options and Software & Peripherals solutions.
Adapt value propositions that identify & address core CDN SMB customers’ needs.
Drive profitable growth and achieve market share targets for the ‘Mobility’ product portfolio.
Adopt and drive best practice sharing across Dell Consumer/Small Medium Business regions.

Qualification

Required Qualifications and Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree; Master in Business Administration is an asset.
5-8 years of industry work experience; 3+ years of marketing experience.
Able to operate autonomously and make business decisions on their own.
Customer focused and ability to maintain customer relationships both internally/externally.
Self-starter with ability to identify and resolve problems.
Program development and management experience related to achieving financial goals.
Strong planning, analyzing and priority-setting abilities.
Good organizational agility and interpersonal skills to work effectively across functions and lines of business in a virtual organization.
A good understanding of the PC industry market trends and Dell customer needs.
Ability to translate solutions into customer benefits.
Analytical and Business problem solving skills; financial analysis capabilities an asset.
Good written, verbal and presentation skills and ability to negotiate effectively.
Understanding of Dell business model, and sales support requirements.
Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products (PowerPoint and Excel) an asset.
