Position: Credit Representative
Location: Edmonton, AB
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Northern Alberta Regional Credit Manager and working out of our Meridian Edmonton Branch the Credit Rep is responsible for performing the various daily duties related to account receivable.
- To monitor and collect monies on customer accounts that are past due.
- Management of related job specific documents and correspondence.
- Review of orders on credit hold on a daily basis.
- Credit review and updates to facilitate credit limits or increases.
- To reconcile customer accounts.
- To facilitate, administer and assist management or sales force with customer dispute resolution process.
- To provide reasonably prompt response to customers regarding invoice copies, packing slip copies or other such requests made by customers within the administrators portfolio or other as required from time to time or directed by the Credit Manager.
- Use of third party credit information sources such as Equifax and Sterling.
Qualifications:
Analytical with solid communication and interpersonal skills
Oil and Gas industry an asset
FCI designation or student would be an asset but not essential
Computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft office and outlook 2003
Strong customer service and organizational skills
Professional mannerisms
Good time management skills
Works well on their own
Related experience in accounts receivable and collections
