Finance Manager Job in Ottawa K2P 1B4, Ontario Canada

VON Canada, national office in Ottawa, ON is currently looking to fill the position of Manager, Finance. This position will be responsible for general accounting and preparation of the monthly financial statements for VON Canada. Responsibilities:Financial duties include full-cycle accounting using SAP.Annual budgets and monthly financial statement preparation including but not limited to account reconciliation, and month-end adjustments.Preparation of business cases supporting requests for funding as well as reporting to outside agencies as required (monthly/quarterly/annually).Qualifications:Post secondary degree/diploma in Accounting, Commerce or Business AdministrationProfessional accounting designation (CA,CMA or CGA) preferredMinimum of 3 years of Accounting/ Finance Management experienceFive years of Accounting/ Finance experience in budgeting, financial statement preparation and analysisIntermediate knowledge of Excel, MS Office and MS WordIntermediate knowledge of SAP FI module preferredExperience in not-for-profit environment an assetMust be self directed and team orientatedThrives in fast paced, challenging and rapid changing environmentExcellent communication and organizational skillsVON Canada offers the following benefitsCareer advancement opportunitiesCompetitive compensationGroup benefit coveragePension planAnnual vacation and sick leave entitlementEmployee assistance programEmployee recognition programsWork Perks employee discountsApply online http://www.von.ca/en/careers/careers.aspx
