Our client, a public accounting firm, seeks to engage a Tax Accountant to offer tax-consulting services to a wide range of clients.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in taxation, including work on tax planning assignments for owner-managed enterprises.
The selected individual will also have strong interpersonal skills as the position requires regular contact with clients, prospects and colleagues.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead small and medium sized client engagements for tax related activities for domestic tax matters.
Work closely with a partner as a senior team member on tax planning for clients.
Coach, manage and mentor Junior Tax Staff for the preparation of tax returns, presentation of tax research and career development.
Develop and implement strategies for clients to capitalize on business opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS:
CA, CGA or CMA designation.
Completion or enrollment in CICA In-Depth Tax Courses (Levels I, II).
At least3 years of experience in public accounting with a specialization in tax for a minimum of 2 years.
Extensive understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate tax compliance and planning.
Strong interpersonal skills.
COMPENSATION:
Salary is commensurate with experience.
