THE OPPORTUNITY:

Our client, a public accounting firm located in the Mississauga area, seeks to engage a Senior Staff Accountant.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee and directly participate in review engagement processes and notice to reader assignments.
Review and prepare financial statements and appropriate disclosures in accordance with GAAP.
Prepare and analyze various reports as required, such as projections, forecasts, cash flow statement, etc.
Monitor and supervise staff oversee work of junior staff and provide mentoring, as needed.
Complete corporate and personal income tax returns.
Develop and maintain productive relationships with clients.
REQUIREMENTS:
Intermediate to Senior CA student or newly designated CA.
Minimum 2 years experience in a public accounting firm.
Strong investigative and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with the following software packages: CaseWare / CaseView, TaxPrep, Word, and Excel.
Ability to prioritize workload demands and multiple tasks.
Team player with demonstrated ability to train junior staff.
Strong interpersonal, technical, and communication skills.
Good organizational skills required to meet deadlines.
