Document/Account Resolution Specialist
(1 month contract, Toronto, Ontario)

A leader in the finance industry is currently seeking a Document Specialist to assist in the conversion of policy documentation into a standard word format and assist in the on-boarding process for all documents, users and help/training materials for the client’s enterprise risk project. Additional responsibilities of the position include the following:
- This project is a long term, enterprise wide initiative intended to improve the quality, integrity, timeliness and availability of policies and policy related documents to users of this information.
- The document specialist will support the Business Manager by providing documented methods and procedures for standard work practices. This includes:
- Participation in development of Help documentation and its distribution
- On-boarding includes the uploading of policy documents into the system, ensuring that the appropriate taxonomy identifies are assigned to each document as well as assigning the correct access rights and permissions as defined by the Business Analysts responsible for those modules
- Provide status reports to team to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Accountable to the project leadership for quality and timely delivery
- Draft and issue documentation as agreed to by the project leadership
- Document, investigate, escalate and ensure that all issues related to this deliverable are effectively resolved
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Undergraduate degree ? Business, Technology, Math or other analytical field NICE to have but not mandatory.
- 5+ years experience in working with MS Word and Excel for the purposes of managing templates and converting a large volume of documents.
- Have excellent analytical and problem-resolution skills as well as consensus-building skills
- Possess superior organizational, follow-up and priority-setting skills to handle multiple tasks
- Possess superior multi-tasking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented and dynamic environment
- Have a proven ability to work effectively individually with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment
- Have the ability to understand complex information and summarize in a clear, concise fashion
- Have a strong customer service orientation and a professional approach; ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels within the organization
- Knowledge of Document Management Systems Nice to have
- Knowledge of Approval based workflow systems Nice to have
