JOB OVERVIEW:
Our client, located in Toronto, Ontario is a major financial organization who has a one year contract available for a Business Analyst with AML experience. The successful candidate will be streamlining and re-engineering of the AML FIU for both Canada and the USA. They will also ensure that the procedures and processes are consistent for all AML FIU locations.
Responsibilities:
-Implementation of the systems to support a strong AML FIU.
-Training to ensure consistency in investigations within the AML FIU.
-Implementation of oversight testing
-Streamline reporting and creation of required queue management and regulatory reporting
-Elimination of manual processes and processes that do not belong to the AML FIU
-Implementation of queue management to ensure that the backlogs are managed, brought current, with a strategic approach
-Process Improvement and Project Management ? The incumbent will support the business requirements and will work closely with the six sigma team to document.
-Documentation ? The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that the procedures, and processes are properly documented as provided by the six sigma team
-Testing ? The incumbent will be required to assist with the testing/test scripts for upcoming implementations in the AML FIU
-Status Reporting ? The incumbent will be responsible for the maintaining, updating and providing all the scorecards at each week end for the AVP. Work with all the teams to ensure the status reports are completed on a timely basis.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-Analytical skills are key to this role. Must be detail-oriented, and take the time to understand each problem.
-Knowledge of business processes
-Ability to have a business-oriented vision
-Improvement of business and engineering processes
-Business writing
-Planning/scheduling
-Suitability for this position would be evidenced by a 3-5 years working history with business analytics
-Required technical attributes:
-Microsoft Project, Excel, Access, Word, Outlook (all MS general products)
