Designer Job in HAWKESBURY K6A1K7, Ontario Canada
On behalf of our aerospace client, we are looking for a Aerospace Technical Designer to join their growing team. The responsibilities will include liaising with manufacturers and producing manufacturing drawings and technical specifications to design new product STC. The chosen candidate will also update existing manufacturing drawing and implement improvements to existing product lines.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter; he or she will be responsible for taking ownership of various small size projects. He or she will have an understanding and working knowledge of the aircraft certification process and is comfortable with participating in peer reviews. Knowledge of material properties and manufacturing processes is a strong asset.
We are currently looking for an intermediate/senior level experienced candidate. Please note experience within the Aviation/Aerospace industry is mandatory for this position. The chosen candidate must be proficient with AutoCAD and Solidworks (2D and 3D).
