Validation Technologist Job in London N5V3C7, Ontario Canada
Our Client, a large Manufacturing Company in London is looking for a Validation Technologist to join their team on a 12 month contract basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Perform desktop and hands-on technical validation of maintenance and troubleshooting procedures at various stages of development (from Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA) and Diagnostic Engineering (DE) source data to Technical Publication)
Perform quality grading of task submissions against Failure Modes, Effects & Criticality Analysis (FMECA) criteria and maintain results in the Task Quality Management Database (TQMD).
Support Customer Log Reviews/Verification Events.
Provide direction to Technical Writers in the development of maintenance manuals.
Manage task work flow, and assist with scheduling and distribution of work within the validation group.
Support Bid and Proposal activities as required.
The successful candidate must have:
Technical University Degree or College Diploma – in a Mechanical or Electrical discipline.
2-3 years experience in the operation, maintenance and integration of vehicle components and systems, including the ability to perform technical maintenance and diagnostics tasks hands-on.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, specifications and subcontractor data to ensure accurate technical validation of MTA, DE and Technical Publications procedures.
Proficient in MS Office.
Experience with customer/inter-departmental relations and proven ability to perform in a team based environment with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
Required Skills:
