Staff Accountant Job in Oakville, Ontario Canada

Description:

Our client is a well-diversified, global company involved in manufacturing, distribution, and services. As a result of a coprorate reorganization of responsibilities, they are currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support various business units with accounting issues and process improvements.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for improving the quarterly balance sheet reconciliation process. Document existing processes and work with an extended team to improve the current processes. Assist the Business Units with technical issues relating to extracting information from the ERP system. Research various issues using IFRS guidelines and company accounting guidelines.

Experience:

A Canadian Accountanting designation (CA, CMA, CGA) is required for this role. A minimum of 2 4 years or relevant finance and accounting experience is required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to form strong relationships quickly.
