Client Server Developer Job in Kitchener/Waterloo, Ontario Canada

Job Description: On behalf of our large financial services client, PROCOM KW is searching for a Senior Client Server Developer

The successful candidate will join a team of web development professionals working on business projects in a web environment. Responsibilities will include design and development on a web-based system (GUI and business logic), calling a set of back-end Java and mainframe services to retrieve data. Work will also involve working with business partners to resolve issues with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities/Job Functions:

Competencies:
experience in Microsoft .NET web development (ASP.NET, VB.NET) and older Microsoft technologies (VB6, classic ASP)
experience with MS SQL Server
previous usage of PVCS Dimensions source code control tool
programming languages: MS VB.NET, ASP.NET, VB6, ASP

Mandatory Skills:
ASP.NET(6),Software Debugging(6),Software Implementation(6),Software Support(6),VB6(6),.NET Windows(6),.NET Web Development(6)

Nice-to-Have Skills:
IIS(1),LOADRUNNER(1),LOTUS NOTES(1),ACCESS(1),EXCEL(1)

Location: Kitchener – Waterloo (Ontario, Canada)

Duration: 5 month initial contract

Salary: Negotiable, based on experience
